A brilliant futsal goal you wont have seen: Bruce Dyer (Barnsley Masters) vs Hull Masters

Back in 1994, Bruce Dyer was hyped as the most promising English striker of his day.

After coming through the ranks at Watford, the then 19-year-old Dyer was snapped up by Crystal Palace to become Britains first ever 1m teenager. All the hullabaloo soon fizzled out and Dyer never reached the heights which his transfer fee had alluded too. Instead spend the majority of his career on the brink of the top flight without ever establishing himself as one of the stars of his generation.

Fast forward to the present day, and Dyer is now a 35-year-old ex-pro whom is scarcely heard of in Blighty. That changed this week during the Yorkshire Five-a-Side Masters competition as he scored a terrific goal to show off the promise he never truly developed.

Playing for Barnsley against Hull, Bruce Dyer rolled back the years as he executed, on the angle, a picture-perfect overhead-volley that saw his unstoppable shot crash into the far post.
