Villarreal go second after Malaga win; Fener hit Kasimpasa for six

As if that was not enough drama for a half, there was a mass brawl that resulted in Eliseu receiving his marching orders, with Marchena shown a yellow card for the initial tackle on Rondon which sparked the melee.

Kasimpasa ensured a halftime scoreline of 3-2 as Ersen Martin pulled one back two minutes later, but Fener pulled clear in the second half. Niang scored his second and Feners fourth in the 64th minute before Alex grabbed his second and Niang wrapped up his hat-trick in the final moments.

Mjallby 3 Djurgarden 0 (Allsvenskan, September 27, 2010) Mjallby eased past 10-man Djurgarden 3-nil. Moestafa El Kabir opened the scoring in the 20th minute and, after the sending off of Ikpe Ekong (66), substitute Peter Gitselov bagged a two-goal cameo (73, 90) to clinch victory.

Gefle 1 Halmstad 2 (Allsvenskan,! Septemb er 27, 2010) Halmstad came from behind to win 2-1 at bottom-of-the-table Gefle. Yussif Chibsah scored the hosts ninth-minute opener but Joe Sise equalised on the half-hour and grabbed a 72nd-minute winner.
