Cant Kick, Wont Kick: Pat Onstad (Houston Dynamo) & Justin Pasfield (North Queensland Fury)

Sometimes you have to wonder how some people became professional footballers.

The past few days have witnessed two epic FAILS from goalkeepers living on different sides on the planet. Both goalies managed to completely balls-up efforts to take a simple goal kicks and they were duly punished for their horrible errors.

First up was Pat Onstads mistake for the Houston Dynamo at Kansas City on Wednesday night. In a thrilling 4-3 victory to the Wizards Onstad, Houstons seasoned number one, made a shocker blunder on the hour mark to aid the hosts comeback from 3-1 down.

Not only did he slip and the crucial moment, but the Wizards Teal Bunbury then punished his with a cute nuts finish.

Two days later a replica event took place down under in the A-League contest between the Wellington Phoenix and the North Queensland Fury.

Without giving away the punchline, all that needs to be done is to flag up the pathetic excuse given by the Furys assistant coach Stuart McLaren after the match for Chris Greenacres opener. I thought the wind played a big part in the first goal as the ball moved just before Justin was about to kick it and theres no accounting for that.
