Individual Match Highlights: Paul Scholes (Manchester United) vs Rangers

Paul Scholes had a steady, if not a remarkable outing against Rangers on Wednesday night in the Champions League.

From his deep-lying midfield position alongside Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs and Luis Nani, the Manchester United ginger genius sprayed the ball around the park will typical accuracy and precision, including several passes which carried the necessary threat to hurt Rangers defensively. nicely, as per usual, and looked a threat at times.

Schoelsy did however rarely drift into more advance positions up the pitch. Instead the Red Devil maintained his central position until he was withdrawn in the 66th minute for Anderson.

Somewhat surprisingly however, Scholes managed to complete several perfectly timed tackles during his shift. He even emerged without a booking to his name.
