A brilliant goal you wont have seen: Benoit Patin (Rodez) v Rouen

We hope you will excuse us in that this goal was scored two weeks ago, but it is a truly rareoccurrenceto see a player score a volley from their own half.

Rodez beat Rouen 4-2 in the French Championat Nacional but they had to wait until the very last few seconds of the match to be sure of all three points in the French third division.

Anthony Beuev, the Rodez keeper, took a long goal kick, a Rouen defender looked to knock it back only for it to land on the volley for Benoit Patin in the centre circle
