How Jose Mourinho planned sendings off of Xabi Alonso & Sergio Ramos (Ajax-Real Madrid)

Yesterday we asked Did Real Madrid duo Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos get themselves deliberately sent off against Ajax?

So it is with thanks to a Dutch 101er called Avi who alerted us to some excellent footage produced by DutchbroadcasterNOS showing exactly how Jose Mourinho orchestrated the sendings off of Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos at Ajax on Tuesday night.

First off we see The Special One call over Xabi Alonso and give him some instructions, then we see footage of reserve goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek speaking with Iker Casillas who then has a chat with Sergio Ramos.

Then minutes later both Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos pick up second yellow cards in bizarre fashion, ruling them out of the final group game at home to Auxerre and with a clean slate for the knock out rounds.

The excellent footage which includes both farcical sendings off is on this video.

Whilst the footage is undoubtedly damning and should give UEFA the evidence they need to investigate further, once again Mourinho has shown how to bend the rules to his advantage and the European governing body should think of how this can be avoided in future.
