Brisbane Roar embarrass Mariners in 5-1 away win

Central Coast Mariners 1 Brisbane Roar 5 (A-League, November 28, 2010) The Roar were ruthless and at their slick best to move six points clear atop the table. A double to in-form Costa Rican striker Jean Carlos Solorzano in the opening 11 minutes got the visitors off to a flier, before Mitch Nichols made it 3-0 by halftime. Substitute Adam Kwasnik pulled one back for the Mariners in the second half, but Reinaldo and an Alex Wilkinson own goal inflicted more misery on the hosts.
