Match Night Commentary: D.C. United vs. Chivas USA

It's a battle of a pair of teams at the bottom of the table at the Home Depot Center as D.C. United visits Chivas USA (ESPN2, 7pm PST).
Both clubs come into the match looking to salvage something from seasons that quickly gone awry. For United, the club will look to build on a satisfying win at home against expansion Philadelphia while Chivas USA looks for their first win since July 31st. This week's match comes as both clubs prepare for midweek fixtures in the U.S. Open Cup Semifinals.

PREGAME: It will be important for both clubs to go into the lead into the half. When the two clubs are leading at the end of the first 45, they are a combined 5-0. Two wins for Chivas and three for D.C. United. However, when the clubs trail at the half, they are a nightmarish 0-14-1. Both clubs falling seven times each with D.C. earning the only draw.
