Brazilian Bloopers: Jorge Henrique (Corinthians) tackles the lino & Decos horror miss on Flu debut

Two clips to bring you from last weekends football in Brazil, beginning with a piece of pure comedy from the Corinthians-Sao Paulo match on Saturday night.

Trying to collect a sweeping left-footed pass down the right hand side, Corinthians right-winger Jorge Henrique busted a gut to reach the defence-splitting pass before the ball exited play. In his exuberance the No. 24 made a last-ditch slide tackle in a failed attempt to keep the attack alive, but in doing so he managed not only to stop the ball but also take out the linesman standing next to him.

The take-down can be seen here.

Turning to the Vasco-Fluminense match up, the occasion marked the debut of Deco for Muricy Ramalhos side following his move from Chelsea in the summer.

Deco, having only netted five goals during his days at Stamford Bridge, has never been considered a sharpshooter in front of goal, but that offered little comfort for his new employers as they watched him blaze a point-blank effort high-wide-and-handsome in the 2-all draw.

Decos bad miss can be seen here.
