The Goal Celebration FAIL: Rafael (Bahia) vs Flamengo

As the Brazilian season gears up for its start, a variety of competitions are currently taking place all the country. One such competition is the Copa Sao Paulo de Futebol Junior, which this week witnessed the final between Bahia and Flamengo.

Fla ran out 2-1 winners, but it was the Bahia goal from Rafael that needs drawing attention to.

Trailing 1-nil, Bahia won a penalty which Rafael duly took responsibility over. The striker smashed a lovely shot past the keeper, and in his wave of excitement he ran straight for scoring the spot-kick towards the Bahia fans situation behind the goal.

In order to get up-close-and-personal, Rafael had to jump the advertising hoardings. But thats when things quickly turned pear-shaped as, unaware to Rafael, on the other side of the hoardings was a staircase.

Ouch!

After taking his bruising to his ribs like a man, Rafael soon found the pain too much to handle as he crumpled to the floor in urgent need of medical assistance for his celebration FAIL.
