Excellent new Andres Iniesta Nike advert

For many years he was just the pale underrated shy midfielder who filled in anywhere at Barcelona. Now, after scoring the winning goal in the World Cup final and playing a major role in Barcelonas continued success, Andres Iniesta is a household name.

Proof of that comes in a new Nike advert for their CTR360 boot, where as the blurb from the sportswear giant puts it: The World Cup Winner seamlessly transitions between training and matches and draws the viewer into the battleground that is the midfield.

Highlights include the camera angles that makes you feel as if you are right up next to Iniesta and some excellent trickery that deceives Eric Abidal in Barcelona training.

In addition to their main advert, Nike have also released an Iniesta video in their series Nike Inside the Pro where the diminutive playmaker talks of his career and the speed of the modern game. Video here with English subtitles.

To complete the Andres Iniesta love-in are individual match highlights from his performance in Barcelonas 5-0 win over Almeria in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final last night.As ever, Iniesta went about his work with stunning efficiency and set up the third Barcelona goal for Lionel Messi.
