VIDEO: Sir Alex spits fire at lying journalist at his pre-Christas Man United press conference

Most reports coming out of Thursdays Manchester United press conference surrounded Sir Alexs belief that Van der Sar will retire at the end of the season. But before press conference really got underway, Ferguson opened with a verbal assault on the journalists sitting in front of him who he charged as liars.

Speaking to you people from the dailys, Ferguson handed out his version of a Christmas message barking I got fed up with you. Your job is to tell the truth. Im gonna have you twisting everything I say. The next time youre finished. You wont get back in Im fed up of reading papers of things I said and you completely twist them around. Lie. Your job is to tell the truth. If you cant do that youre in the wrong job.
