Spanish Women in Football: Sara Carbonero was so 2010. 2011 is all about Lara Alvarez

It used to be that Italian TV was the go-to place if you wanted to see attractive and sexy women talking about the beautiful game. Sky Sports News got involved in the whole sexed-up sports angle several years ago too, while in 2010 the star of the women-in-football circuit undoubtedly went to Spain and Iker Casillas missus, Sara Carbonero.

But now Spanish TV has thrown a new name into the mix. Make way for 24-year-old Lara Alvarez.

Spanish television channel La Sexta, the channel who gave Carbonero her big break, have just revealed Miss Alvarez on camera.
