Four brilliant goals you wont have seen: Biezen (Go Ahead Eagles), Sillaste (Tulevik), Nurmela (Oulu) & Oritz (Olimpia)
As Murphys Law would have it, no sooner did we post our top goals of the week list on Monday then we quickly became aware of a raft of golazos which wed overlooked from some of world footballs less high-profile leagues.
We begin in the Dutch second division, and a huge thanks to 101er Jorrit de Jong (any relation to Nigel?) for pointing us in the direction of a ridiculous volley in the match between Go Ahead Eagles and MVV Maastricht from last Friday night.
The Eagles ran out comfortable 3-nil winners, with home forward Koen van der Biezen (pictured) stealing the headlines with a hat-trick inside 55 minutes. Yet it was Van der Biezens second goal which was truly exquisite as the striker pulled off a Gianfranco Zola/Matty Burrows-esque backheel volley to convert a sweet cross from the left.
Biezens backheel-volley can be seen thirty seconds into this video.
Staying in Europe we received a second email from someone going by the name of madness who got our attention with an outstanding lob from Estonia. When sixth placed JK Tammeka hosted seventh placed JK Tulevik on Saturday few people cared, but that all changed when visiting defender Mikk Sillaste scored an amazing chip after 17 minutes.
Mikk Sillaste started the move with a throw-in in his opponents half. After restarting the play the ball came back to number five on the right touchline, where he was immediately faced with an opponent baring down on him. Keeping his cool Sillaste shifted the ball past his marker, and then the incredible happened as he opted to try his luck with an amazing 40-yard chip from the touchline.

We stay in Northern Europe for our third golazo.
Saturday in Finland saw AC Oulu travel to Jaro in a match which the visitors ran out 2-1 winners. Oulu set their stall out on the stroke of halftime when 38-year-old Finnish international midfie! lder Mik a Nurmela turned the clock back with an unstoppable ripper. Picking up the ball 40-yards out on the right hand side of the pitch, the number 13 took just one touch to control the ball before thumping a howitzer from right to left that punched a hole in the far top corner.

That leaves us with one.
Away from Europe, the Paraguayan first division saw league leaders Libertad play host to fifth-placed Olimpia on Sunday night in a thrilling 2-all draw. After half an hour of the match the scores were already one apiece when visiting midfielder Richard Oritz took the game by the scruff of the neck with a long-range thunderbolt that no keeper in the world would have saved. Pace, power and accuracy were all there as Oritz reeled off a 40-yard bullet that you had to see to believe.
Oritzs wonder-goal can be seen here.
