FC United progress in the FA Cup; 2 rounds away from facing Manchester United

The draw for the first round proper of the FA Cup was made on Sunday and one of the big stories of the competition so far is the progression of FC United.

The Evo-Stik League Premier Division side were formed as a breakaway to Manchester United by fans opposed to the takeover of the club by the Glazer family.

FC United of Manchester have been drawn against Rochdale in the first round and face a hugely tough battle to secure a place in the third round which is where the Premier League teams join.

On Saturday FC United beat Barrow 1-0 in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup. Carlos Roca scored the only goal of the game on this video, full match highlights here.
