U.S. Open Cup Third Round: A Look Ahead

Wednesday night, the adversary that will shortly grace MLS is renewed, as the Portland Timbers are set to horde the Seattle Sounders in the Third Round of the U.S. Open Cup.
PGE Park is set to horde another Open Cup compare between the two sides, with the extreme adversary set to take core theatre once again. The Sounders begin their defense of last year's Open Cup title.
Seven other matches are scheduled for this week, as 8 MLS sides enter the tournament proper after the couple rounds of play-in matches have filled out the field. Each diversion pits an MLS team opposite the side from the lower levels of American soccer, with teams representing either USL-2 or USSF Division 2 League.

A.C. St. Louis during Los Angeles Galaxy, 10:30 p.m.
Austin Aztex during Chivas USA, 10:30 p.m.

Richmond Kickers during D.C. United, 7:30 p.m.
Seattle Sounders during Portland Timbers, 10:30 p.m.
