Cristiano Ronaldos brilliant no-look back heel (Atletico Madrid-Real Madrid)

Real Madrid cruised past local rivals Atletico Madrid on Thursday night to reach the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey thanks to a 1-0 win at the Vicente Calderon to complete a 4-1 aggregate victory.

Once Cristiano Ronaldo has smashed the ball past David De Gea midway through the first half the game was all but up for Atletico and the rest of the encounter witnessed some turgid stuff.

There was though one moment of brilliance that could well be remembered in what was otherwise a dull game. Just before the break Cristiano Ronaldo received the ball with his back to goal and back heeled the ball to Angel Di Maria.

The pass bisected four Atletico defenders and a watch of the video shows that Ronaldo may well have eyes in the back of his head. Sadly, Angel Di Maria was not on the same wavelength and the chance went begging.
