Wizards complete wild 4-3 comeback win over Houston

Josh Wolff picked an appropriate time for his second goal of the 2010 season. The former USMNT forward capped off a second half rally with a 96th minute winner, as Kansas City erased a two-goal deficit, defeating the Houston Dynamo 4-3 and keeping their playoff hopes alive.

Down 3-1 at the end of the first half, the Wizards were poised to take a huge step back from their playoff goal. Needing three points from the majority of their remaining games -- especially one against a bottom team in the West at home -- it wasn't looking promising.

Houston had punished the Wizards for a woeful first half performance, as goals from Cam Weaver, Dominic Oduro and Adrian Serioux had the Dynamo on top. The Wizards could only fashion a response through a Kei Kamara blast in the 35th minute.

But two cataclysmic errors from Houston defenders cost them their lead. First, it was Pat Onstad, slipping on a goal kick that fell straight to Teal Bunbury, who raced in one-on-one and beat the Dynamo 'keeper in the 60th minute. Kansas City then tied it 12 minutes later, when a Ryan Smith volley was redirected in by Serioux, cuing Wolff's stoppage time heroics.

Here's a look at the highlights from Wednesday's game:
