Yolanthe Cabau: Pics of Wesley Sneijder's Past Girlfriend, Now Wife

With the Neatherlands advancing to the World Cup final, focus has turned squarely on to the Dutch, specifically their star player, Wesley Sneijder.

The best part about Sneijder's newfound national attention would have be his new wife, Yolanthe Cabau van Kasbergen.

Yolanthe already found a spot on my list of The 50 Hottest World Cup WAGs of All Time, but now with Brazil, Italy, and England out of the picture, she may end up being the hottest WAG left in the World Cup.

Newlywed

It was only recently reported, but it appears that Yolanthe and Sneijder were wed in April.

Congratulations, you two. For your wedding present I got you the World Cup final.

Pop Star To Football Star

Yolanthe wasn't always a soccer WAG. She started out dating Dutch pop star Jan Smit (that's like a pop star in America being named John Smith. Boooring).

Too bad she was stolen away by Sneijder. Smit will just have to go back to singing his hit Ik zing dit lied voor jou alleen all by his lonesome.

The Other Woman

Not only was Yolanthe stolen away from her pop star boyfriend, but she also happened to be the other woman when it happened.

Sneijder was married at the time and was cheating on his wife (with whom he had a child) with Yolanthe.

I'm happy to see that they stuck together though. I hate to see a marriage go down in flames like that for nothing.

Party Boy No More

Most of the Netherlands team is settled down, but Sneijder was seen as the party boy of the bunch. Yolanthe was just supposed to be another conquest along the way.

Looks like Yolanthe had her hooks into him deeper than anybody thought.

Triple Threat

Yolante is said to be an actress, a TV presenter, and a model.

Nobody in America ever puts "TV Presenter" on their resume, but it seems like for every WAG in every other country it's a requirement.

Maybe I should start watching some of these TV presentations.

Scoring Machine

Sneijder is already tied for the most goals in this World Cup with five, including the game winner against Brazil in a huge upset.

This shouldn't really come as a surprise. Just looking at Yolanthe we can clearly see that Sneijder can score.

Sexiest Babe of the Year

Dutch FHM has named Yolanthe the Sexiest Babe of the Year three times running. And that's no joke. Have you seen the women in the Netherlands? They're all smoking hot.

Yolanthe is just another breed of hot.

Three's A Charm

Just like Yolanthe took the Sexiest Babe title for three years, her hubby Sneijden won the Copa Italia championship, the Series A Championship, and the Champions League title.

Is there anything this couple doesn't win? We'll find out in the final.

Voetbalvrouwen

Yolanthe is a soap star on Onderweg Naar Morgen for years, but recently finished a three episode stint on Voetbalvrouwen, which is like the Dutch version of Footballers' Wives.

And if we know anything about footballers' wives, we know that they are hot and scandelous, two things Yolanthe seems to have down pat.

Half and Half

Yolanthe's father was Spanish and her mother and husband are Dutch. This could set up a potential heart-string pull if Spain beats Germany and we have a Netherlands/Spain final.

Something tells me she'll go with Netherlands, which is important, because it's not like Spain would really be hurting for hot WAGs. The Dutch need someone like her in their corner.

Good Catholic Girl

Not only did Sneijden leave his wife for Yolanthe, but he even converted over to Catholicism (her religion) for her, baptism and all.

Come on, you're telling me you wouldn't do the same for this woman?

Face of Giro d'Italia

Yolanthe got her big break by becoming the face of Giro d'Italia, the biggest road race in Italy for cyclists.

I think that was a win-win for both sides. Maybe the Tour de France could use her help to give them a little more publicity. It seems to be working for the World Cup.

Move Over Katy Perry

She kissed a girl...and she liked it.

Good Luck Charm?

With all of Sneijder's success this year, if he ends up winning the World Cup, Yolanthe could end up being seen as the biggest good luck charm in soccer.

She wouldn't certainly be one of the hottest good luck charms I've ever seen, even counting the picture of Kelly Kapowski I keep in my wallet.

Christmas Come Early

Yolanthe really has been a gift dropped right into our laps around this time. So enjoy the rest of the World Cup, but don't forget the real reason we are the most thankful for this time of year.
